About the Author-Contributor

The author grew up with a love of science and mathematics from a very early age. He got his undergraduate degree in mathematics with a minor in physics at the University of Illinois in 1967, but fell victim to the All But Dissertations Curse when doing graduate work in computer science: his thesis advisor unexpectedly rejected his dissertation topic, and simultaneously someone offered him $ to design and program an operating system.

During a prolonged, and still continuing, period of serious ill-health and inactivity, the author decided to see what he could come up with in the way of “science... when wrong to be put right.” He has found more than a few important... oversights, both in science and in mathematics. Newton’s Great... Oversight that is also one of Einstein’s Great... Oversights is/are among them.

Due to the author’s ill-health, even sincere attempts at communication may not meet with the attention they deserve. Apologies in advance.
