Our Intended Audience
We hope to attract everyone who is concerned about science and mathematics
failing scientifically and mathematically, i.e. failing on their own terms. The people we hope will be most interested in our site are professional
scientists and mathematicians, including educator-teachers and anyone else
professionally involved in the education-teaching of science and mathematics. We also hope that university-college
students and high school students studying science and math, and even the general
public with a reasonably strong popular science and math background, will find it
both simple enough to appreciate at least the gist, and interesting enough to be
worth delving into.
We do not intend to provide basic materials, except at times the most terse
of introductions. We assume that you know e.g. at least roughly what the
equivalence principle is in relativity and why it’s
fundamental, or that we still teach in our schools that (Galileo
scientifically proved that) lighter and heavier bodies fall at (precisely) the
same rate
(in accordance with Newton’s laws,
i.e. in a Newtonian inverse square gravitational field),
or what computable functions, non-computable functions, and the halting problem in
automata theory are.
Everything is presented simply: simple algebra and trig, simple
set theory and its transfinite numbers and very simple transfinite arithmetic, simple logic, but no perturbation theory, no
differential equations, and only an infinitesimal bit of calculus.
But it is
presented deceptively simply:
- we go
over the basics...
- but we reach different
conclusions
For the first time, fundamental... oversights in modern science and modern
mathematics are being exposed to the public:
- “...
when wrong to be put right.”
THAT is the challenge...
